Romano, Genta
As the Trademark Administrator for Osborn Maledon, Genta manages the trademark practice, assisting in the prosecution of U.S. applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as acting as the liaison with foreign counsel to assist with clearing, registering and protecting clients marks around the world.
Genta is uniquely suited for this role having practiced law in Canada and multiple countries in Europe, where she attended law school and several international law programs (such as Erasmus, IDLO etc.) After graduation, she received a scholarship to study the Globalization of Europe at the IPC College in Denmark. Genta has connections all over Europe and she enjoys keeping in touch with her peers by communicating in various languages such as Italian, English, French and Albanian. After four years in Canada, Genta decided to start a family in Phoenix, where she also attended Phoenix College (earning a Paralegal degree). She now enjoys working in the trademark field where she can utilize her international law experience, foreign languages and connections, to support American and international clients.

Genta is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), frequently participating in roundtables and working to organize local events as well. Outside the office, Genta participates in bachata events (a form of Latin dance), tennis matches and swimming with her group of friends, but also likes to catch up with them by exploring Phoenix and Scottsdale and their growing local food scene.
