Headrick Rizik Alvarez & Fernández was founded in 1985 by William C. Headrick, Roberto Rizik, Francisco Alvarez and Mary Fernández, each of whom is an experienced attorney in a wide range of practice areas. Later, Marisol Vicens, Sarah De León, Tomás Hernández, Kirsys Reynoso, Luisa Nuño, Hipólito García and Julio Camejo joined the Firm as partners. Dr. Headrick retired from active practice in 2002, but remains of counsel to the Firm.
