Born, raised, and educated in the US, I am a Partner in our Tax group with over 20 years of experience in accounting and tax.
I specialize in US and Cross-Border Tax issues for individual and corporate clients who are located in Canada and have US filing requirements.
I serve as the main client resource for any personal planning, compliance, or consulting needs, and I focus my attention on advising our individual clients on a wide variety of issues including estate planning, gifting, investing in the US, and buying and selling US real estate. My approach is personable, thorough, proactive, and strategic.
In addition, I have extensive experience assisting clients with tax planning and compliance implications when leaving or entering the US, coming into compliance under the current IRS amnesty programs, as well as renouncing their US citizenship.
Along with overseeing and actively mentoring all members of the US Tax team, I play an active role in the various process improvement initiatives of the firm. I also enjoy being a member of the Fuller Landau fun committee, planning internal events to build strong team relationships.
