Henry is a Corporate Restructuring Partner. He is based at the firm’s London office and is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner. He has experience of all types of restructuring work, extending to both companies and LLPs, whether domestic or overseas.
Henry works closely with the firm’s experienced corporate finance specialists to achieve the best possible outcome for financially distressed businesses. This allows Henry to offer clients a wide range of solutions including accelerated M&A and pre-insolvency restructuring, fund raising and corporate governance reviews, as well as the constructive use of insolvency process.
Henry focuses on achieving the best practical solution when dealing with the unique and complex situations which often arise from financial distress. His pragmatic approach to problem solving and strong belief in preventative restructuring has resulted in the preservation of value and jobs for a number of businesses, including those in the financial services sector, security provision, not-for-profit, and retail.
Henry joined Mercer & Hole in 2005 as a Graduate Trainee in Corporate Restructuring. Over the years that followed, Henry became ACCA qualified, gained his Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) and took his Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) examinations. He gained his appointment-taking licence in 2014 and was promoted to Director in the same year. Henry became a partner at the firm in 2017.
Outside of work, Henry enjoys spending time with his young daughter and is a Tottenham Hotspur FC fan. Henry also likes running and has completed both the London and Paris marathons.
