George was appointed as Tax Partner in May 2011 to enhance and grow the company's tax offering to the region's mid-sized companies.
Prior to joining DTE, George spent eleven years with KPMG in Leeds and Manchester where he specialised in providing tax advice on corporate acquisitions, disposals and private equity transactions. He subsequently joined the Manchester office of RSM Bentley Jennison as Tax Partner for two years during which time he focussed on advising owner managed businesses and their owners on tax affairs. Specialisms: corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax for individuals and companies, tax advice on buying and selling businesses, group reorganisations and demergers, international tax issues
