He began his career as an attorney in a mid-sized commercial law firm in Frankfurt, which was followed by several years in the Financial Services department (Tax and Legal) of Coopers & Lybrand. He joined GGV in 1997.
Matthias Krämer is a member of the BVK, the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, and of GGV's German-French practice group ("Equipe Franco-Allemande").
In addition to German (native language), he also speaks French and English.
